Now we are in the last few laps. Getting all hyped up, worrying if we can ever finish our readings.
"It is not able the speed of finishing, but about the quality of studying them"
I realised the same goes for reading the Bible, just that it is the same reading over and over again; a reading to be done over the lifetime, with no deadlines.
"Excitement brings you through when you are a youth, discipline brings you through mature Christianity. Discipline is better, because it has longevity, while excitement can die."
Real discipline are in those who still work without deadlines, not those who managed keep to them.
