This was what happened 8 years ago on this very day.To Singaporeans watching from way far ashore, we twitch at the look of these.
We may tear at the deaths of the many innocent.
Some may utter words of irk at those who caused it.
Some may pray for those who lost their loved ones here.
A few dumb ones might ignore all about the cost of it and think that it is a conspiracy between the government and the media.
But all we do is to twitch a little at this, for this was so far away.
Maybe to the muggers and scholars this was the concern for a short moment with due concern to their essays in exams and critics.
Many have forgotten all about it now.
Some Even Shun Away From This.
We can all tear, we can all shun away, we can all hurl abuses at terrorists.
But little did we know that we are all terrorists in our hearts.
How have we not plotted against each other underlying?
How have we not wanted to rob each other of all possessions we envy?
How have we not searched to benefit only our own selves in times of crisis and survival?
How have we all forgotten that there is a God who did not want all these to happen?
How have we all mistook God for being falsely pleased with these kinds of acts?
911 is not only a reflection, but also one of the examples out of the many as we have seen in Germany, Congo, South Africa, Iraq, Afghanistan and Japan.
Wars. All originated from our fallen nature.
Albeit all these, there is a place we still can go to that is free from all these. Only if we choose to accept grace. It is a choice that many have chosen to ignore and shun away from because of inherent pride, all forgetting that we still live in this kind of world, where many things are out of our control.
Including our own hearts and where it will ultimately lead us to.
I thank God.
And I have started to read my own brother's blog. Dunno if he reads mine though. If yes, HELLO!! Have been reading so many friends' blog but not my own brother's kinda ashamed..
